As C-3PO once said, “we’ve had some problems.” But fortunately, we’ve worked through them and can say along with Luke, “3PO, we’re all right! We’re all right!”
Here’s what happened, the short version: we decided to move from Brown Paper Tickets to Tabletop.Events (TTE) because it offers some terrific tools for managing events, and particularly for managing gaming sessions. Since we’re introducing an all-day gaming room this year, it seemed like a natural shift.
Of course, it also meant that we needed to learn how TTE worked, and it took us a couple weeks longer than we expected to sort out all the bugs and problems.
But now we’re able to say with confidence that registration is open for Doxacon Seattle 2025!
Early Bird memberships (or “badges” as TTE calls them) are available through December 31, 2024 for $50. On January 1, 2025, the cost of membership will go up to $60. If you are a presenter or vendor, please contact Erika at submissions@doxaconseattle.com for information on how to register.
Speaking of presenters, partly due to our technical difficulties, we find we still have room for a few more presenters. We’ve extended our deadline also to December 31, 2024. If you would like to join a panel, or present on a topic, or run a game or a workshop, please send us a programming proposal!
