Greetings, Doxacon Seattle friends and attendees!
As our event approaches and the weather in the Pacific Northwest continues to fluctuate, we felt it would be wise to set up a weather-related cancellation policy. Your safety and well-being are very important to us, and we encourage you to look up road conditions along your route before traveling this Saturday!
- It is unlikely that we will cancel the event for weather-related reasons, but if we do, we will immediately send out an email blast and make announcements on our social media accounts.
- In the instance of full event cancellation or individual cancellation, we will offer you either a full refund OR the option, if you feel so led, to donate your ticket cost to Doxacon Seattle to help us continue to put on our event next year. There is no pressure either way you choose.
- If you have purchased a ticket and cannot attend the event for weather-related reasons, please send us an email letting us know that you are unable to attend for weather-related reasons, and indicate whether you would like a refund or to donate your ticket. You can send your email cancellation to info@doxaconseattle.com.
- If you request a weather-related refund, we will do our best to get your money back to you within a week after the event.
- In order to get you a refund, we will need to hear from you via email! We can’t refund no-shows without an email received prior to the event.
- We cannot refund tickets for attendees who choose to come to the event but leave early for weather-related reasons.
- If there are many weather related cancellations, we will do our best to schedule a Doxacon Seattle get-together later in the year, allowing everyone to enjoy fellowship, games, and all the things that make our convention special.
